The idea for this website was born from conversations and observations we’d had about Reiki and comments from various clients.
In particular, Mark Pearse (Reiki Teacher) had noted a trend that for him, started around 2015 and had grown considerably since then.

“In the last 9 or 10 years, the vast majority of people that were asking to be taught Reiki, were already Reiki practitioners.
Regardless of their background and the countries they came from, they all said the same thing, they had paid for and studied Reiki online, their attunements were done at a distance and they’d downloaded their course materials and certificates etc.
They all had similar complaints, they felt their Reiki was ineffective when they applied Reiki to themselves and their clients and they’d come to the conclusion that online study with distance attunements either didn’t work or was so subtle it was basically ineffective. In every instance after receiving Reiki and teaching in person they noticed a huge and beneficial difference and finally felt they were back on track with their Reiki”

From this and other similar conversations the idea for this website was born.
To provide a focal point for people to experience Reiki in person, from practitioners in the Usui Reiki lineage, who themselves had received their Reiki in person going all the way back to Sensei Mikao Usui himself.
